The first of the two major brands is Sailfish. Sailfish have now established theirselves as one of, if not, the leading wetsuit supplier in the world of triathlon. Company owner Jan Sibberson and I are both very excited about the new partnership, a partnership which will last at least 3 years and see me racing in a Sailfish G-Range suit. I have recently returned from Tenerife where I have been lucky enough to view and try the new range of wetsuits, swim skins and also tri suits. Having been able to test the new range I have no doubt 2011 will be an even bigger year for Sailfish and their products. I am very honoured to be part of the Sailfish team.
The second of the two major brands is possibly one of the biggest companies in the world. It is the worlds leading supplier in athletic shoes and apparel - Nike!! Nike and I will become partners throughout 2011 & 2012 and hopefully our co-operation will continue further. From a very young age I have been a massive fan of Nike and their products, to now be part of the Nike family is a massive honour for me and I look forward to representing the company. Nike are very much leading the way in terms of apparel and footwear in most sports throughout the world. I will now have the priviledge of training, racing and casually wearing many of Nike's amazing products.
The announcement of both Nike and Sailfish reassures me that my road to London 2012 Qualification is not a lonely one. I am very fortunate to have the team of sponsors that I currently have. I want to extend my thanks to everyone who has helped me up until this point. I look forward to my future with the backing of all my current sponsors, coach, family and friends.Good luck to everyone in 2011, I wish you good health and great achievements.
